NORTH EAST VILLAGE EXPO, N.E.V.E.

Warwick, Rhode Island

August 22-25, 2002

Twenty-four club members attended this event in Rhode Island. Some of the members went out the weekend before the event to traval and do some sightseeing in the surrounding states.

The event was filled with seminars, make-in-takes, and display contests. We enjoyed bingo, an evening at the Hi-De-Ho night club, a banquet dinner and farewell breakfast with auction. Some of the club members won door prizes, raffel drawings, and purchased items at the auction.

Over all I think everyone who went had a good time, and that the Ocean State Villagers did a very good job hosting their first event.

LITTLE HOUSES ON THE PRAIRIE GATHERING

Urbana, IL, April 19-21, 2002

There were a lot of club members who attended and helped out at this event. We had 2 days of wonderful seminars, demonstrations, meals and commaraderie.

Department 56's Silver Anniversary Celebration, St. Paul,MN

Wacky Willagers "Fall Gala"

The event was attended by some club members. They had a guest speaker from Dept. 56, "Wee Wonders" sold miniature products, and a speaker from the Tick Tock Gift Shop who demonstrated making display bases with styrofoam. Some club members won door prizes. A good time was had by all.
